"For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers." -Romans 8:29
Out of the overflow of God's goodness and love a perfect plan was birthed. "Let us make humanity in Our image, according to Our likeness" (Genesis 1:26). Before the plan was ever hatched God Almighty knew we would rebel (Revelation 13:8). Before speaking creation into existence the Creator knew sin would come, yet still, He chose to form us - we rebels, insurgents, dissenters, heretics, depraved apostates, and vile turncoats with His will, and breathe His life into us. Still, the Eternal Son volunteered to die a sacrificial death atop a Cross one fateful Friday to redeem us (Ephesians 1:4).
Scripture tells us Christ died for His Bride to make Her spotless and perfect (Ephesians 5). The Bible teaches us we are redeemed into a family, i.e. the Church. It instructs us we are being edified, literally built together, into a singular unified entity - His ποίημα (poiema), workmanship, handiwork, craftsmanship, masterpiece... literally Christ's wisdom, the Church.
God has always had a purpose for us, for you. There has never been a plan B. God Almighty doesn't need one. If He did, He wouldn't be God. Just imagine for a moment absolute power and authority - eternal and unrivaled sovereignty. Imagine that along with absolute perfection. That's our God of Father, Son, and Spirit. Eternally relational as Holy Trinity. Needing nothing. Lacking nothing. Giving everything for you to be born-again into His eternal family.
That kind of love doesn't inspire religion or ritual. That kind of love inspires worship. Worship is what we do in response to the glorious truth of who God is and what He has done for us. "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Blessings!
