Think about it:
Social media is where we tell people where we’re vacationing, what we’re selling, what we’re buying, eating, wearing, and playing. We tell people how we’re voting, about our kids’ accolades, and what we think is relevant, offensive, and funny.
But statistics show that only 2% of Christians ever share their witness with anyone.
Only two percent think it worthwhile to communicate to anyone they were formerly destined for -eternal- torment until Christ Jesus stepped down from heaven, became incarnate in a feeding trough, went to the cross in our place, and defeated sin, death, and Satan through His resurrection.
Two percent.
King Jesus, the Eternal Word, the Son of God, Our crucified and resurrected Lord, Savior of the world, Lamb of God, and returning Bridegroom didn’t leave any room for ambiguity or subjective interpretation when He -commanded- all His followers, “you will be My witnesses… to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
King Jesus didn’t say, “Ask Me into your heart,” or “Pray for America.” He said, “you will be My witnesses…”
Are you?
Will you tell somebody about King Jesus today? There’s no guarantee how they’ll respond. Our joy and privilege is simply in the telling of what He has done for us.
Tell Somebody.
Blessings,
